Dengê Hêvî  (Kurdish Rock)

Fusing Kurdish-Turkish rock and traditional sounds, this seven-piece ensemble represent a contemporary cross cultural new sound from Blacktown, Western Sydney, with their songs of freedom and love.

Dengê Hêvî (Sound of Hope) is led by charismatic vocalist ‘Roj’ and features, baglama, electric guitar, bass and the rhythms of tabla and Kurdish drums.


Fringe Dwellers (First Nations Hip Hop)

Fringe Dwellers is a powerful collaboration of hip hop creativity with Izzy and Monks, fuelled by their passion for Aboriginal Culture and the empowerment of community through music.

You cannot mistake these two Gamilaroi men for any other duo. Not afraid to go against the grain and stand up for what they believe in, they proudly share their views on historical knowledge, drawing on decades of musical craft and teaching that creates a dynamic platform for music and truth telling.

Sepora is a craftswoman of intimate storytelling, rooted in pop but distinctively alternative, she captivates audiences through her delicate voice, drawing them into depths of unspoken inner worlds.

Originally hailing from South New Zealand, Sepora grew up in Western Sydney and has forged her own music and songwriting style. She will be releasing her debut EP later this year and will be performing with her 4 piece band for the first time at the Pathways Festival.


NSROMA (Afro Jazz)

Meaning ‘star’ in Ghanaian, Nsroma celebrates Afro-jazz music, featuring Western Sydney musicians from Nigeria, Ghana and Australia and led by the trumpet maestro Pedro Olympio.

The band are a fun and energetic ensemble sharing their unique West African heritages and diverse musical influences via a three-part horn section, guitar, bass, keys, vocals and drums.

Get ready to get up and dance and move your body to their infectious sound!

VV Pete (Hip Hop)

Vv Pete is an upcoming Sudanese rapper and singer based in Mount Druitt, Sydney. Her distinct delivery on stage & performing skills has secured her sold out shows in big venues such as The Sydney Opera House and Oxford Art Gallery.

At twenty years of age, she displays an unapologetic fierceness in her unique stage presence and lyricism.

The SWMCO melds classical strings, dervish rhythms, Latin samba and intimate melodies to smash conservative music conventions and create a dynamic journey that changes the internal chemistry of the listener.

The structure of the Orchestra is unique, from a wide dysphoria of cultures and traditions that imbue contemporary multicultural Australia from Aboriginal Australia, Mongolia, Uyghur , Vietnam, China, Croatia (and more).
